A smartphone without a lot of concessions
Not to mention the Pro, the Xiaomi 11T is a lighter version of the 11T Pro that changes its technical sheet to show a shorter price tag than its counterpart. The 11T is powered by a MediaTek chip and not Qualcomm as is the case with the Pro version, which integrates the Snapdragon 888. So we found a Dimensity 1200 chip along with 8 GB of RAM. A configuration is definitely not very powerful, but provides good performance every day. The Xiaomi 11T is great for multitasking, running apps, or playing 3D games without much lag. This model runs on Android 11 with a new version of the MIUI interface. The smartphone is also compatible with the 5G network.
To be fair, the 11T model has a huge 5,000 mAh battery, allowing it to last a day without any problems. On the other hand, if fast charging is effective in quick recovery percentages, it’s inferior to the 11T Pro which recharges 100% in just 17 minutes. But in the classic version, 36 minutes is enough to reach 100%. A very good mark given the size of the battery. As for wireless charging, it’s not in the game.
Aim for long mid-range
The Xiaomi 11T has some more advantages that it takes away from the Pro model. Like the 11T Pro, the Xiaomi 11T offers a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD + definition of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. It provides excellent image quality for viewing your video content, added HDR compatibility. Xiaomi is even considering offering 120 Hz on the classic model, for an appreciated daily fluidity.
It contains the same triple photo sensor as the Pro model: a 108-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 5-megapixel telemacro. Xiaomi’s 11T delivers decent results in any mode. Its main sensor should be enough for most users to get beautiful, detailed shots. However, the night shots are far from perfect.
