Failing to make a long and tedious conference, Sony did little State of the Game in 30 minutes full of good news with the motto: play on PC. I only pulled halfway. With the exception of a few unique PS VR 2 games, all of the titles presented will be released on PC regularly at the same time as the PS4/PS5 versions. It’s good: the PS5 still hasn’t been seen unlike graphics cards whose prices have slowly returned to normal.
We started to announce the fun of Resident Evil 4 through a very dark trailer. The graphics are of course completely redesigned but also the controls told us. The 2005 game, despite a completely dwarf scenario, reinvented the formula at the time and directly entered the pantheon of the best action games. This new Resident Evil 4 will be released on March 24, 2023 on PS5, Xbox Cherries and Steam. And if you haven’t already done so, we advise you too too I can’t wait to try out the amazing Project HD for the original RE4: the mod is free, and the game currently only costs a very small number of euros on Steam.
We continue to announce the PC port of the PS5 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man. Nixxes Software manages the port and it will be released on August 12 on Steam and on EGS. If you skipped the console versions, we advise you to skip it. Happiness doesn’t come alone, the PC port of Spider-Man: Miles Morales is also set to release this fall. While Insomniac is working on Spider-Man 2 which should be released in 2023 but we feel that the game will be posted in 2024 due to lack of news.
Let’s quickly move on to Horizon Forbidden West which recently received an update adding an Ultra Hard difficulty mode and a New Game + mode to mention Horizon Call Of The Mountain. Co-developed by Guerilla and Firesprite, it will lead the PS VR 2. In the program for this origin stage: multiple climbs, archery and a mode Riding the River which will allow you to appreciate the universe in a calm way. Graphically, this is very unique especially in an era where VR is dominated by cellphone graphics. All that is missing is the release date.

The Callisto Protocol did not attempt to reinvent the wheel. We take on the role of Jacob Lee who is imprisoned in the moon prison on Jupiter. The prison in question was run into a large box and found itself invaded by a kind of virus that transforms the inhabitants of these bloodthirsty mutants. So it could be a question of a third person shooter having a terrible morning and if the result reminds you of Dead Space, it’s normal: the studio that developed it (Striking Distance Studios) is partly composed of formerly Visceral Games fire. Callisto Protocol will be released on December 2, 2022 on Playstation, Xbox, Steam and EGS, almost two months before the modern version of Dead Space.
Roll7, the creator of OlliOlli, has a passion for roulette because we will be putting skates on their new game called Rollerdrome. It is still possible to do cheats but the main goal is to kill your opponents in an ultra-violent game show but also ultra-empty due to the game settings.It is only a single-player game and it will be released on August 16 on PS4, PS5 and Steam.
Eternights is the first game from Studio Sai and it offers a mix of action-JDR and flirting in a post-grandchild world, all with graphics that look very anime. And the craziest thing is that it’s not Japanese or Korean. The main objectives are to be accomplished in a limited time so you have to choose wisely between training your comrades, enticing them, recovering resources and clearing dungeons. It will be released in early 2023 on PS4, PS5, EGS and Steam.
Final Fantasy XVI arrives to say hello to a three -minute trailer featuring a bit of combat. I have a lot more to tell you, but I haven’t played Final Fantasy in over 15 minutes, so what we saw was more in my head. The game was developed by Creative Business Unit III who is known in Final Fantasy MMOs (FF XI and FF XIV) but the guy who manages the fight from Capcom. It is set to be released in the summer of 2023 on the PS5 and likely later on the PC.
Capcom is in good shape because the publisher also showed the first trailer of Street Fighter 6 which introduces what a kind of open world. This is a new game mode called World Tour described as “an immersive single-player experience”. On his side there is a mode Fighting Earth to take the formula of previous license games and a War Hub story of mocking his opponents before kicking their balls (or ovaries, #MeToo). The trailer also features four warriors: Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke and a new kid: Jamie. The game will also include commentators from the pro scene such as football games. Street Fighter 6 will be released next year on Playstation, Xbox and Steam.
Annapurrrrrna Interactive is now available to present the new Stray trailer. It will always look even more shimmering, thanks especially to an attractive graphic touch. We can only hope that the gameplay will be smooth and that the soundtrack will be signed Miou 2. The game is set for July 19 on PS4, PS5 and Steam. While we’re at the furry beasts, Tunic will be released on PS4 and PS5 on September 27th.
