The Overwatch 2 beta will allow its visitors to discover the new heroine Sojournof course, but also four new maps (Royal Circuit, Midtown, Toronto and Rome) as well the new “Push” game mode, revealed from the first images of this sequel. In this new mode, the goal of both teams is to push a robot as far as possible towards the opposing camp on the symmetrical map. A kind of repeated convoy mode, with no difference between the attack camp and the defense camp.
As for the characters already in the first game, four of them will benefit from their gameplay overhaul from the beta : mao ni Bastion, Orisa, Doomfist and Sombra. Other heroes are of course available, but in a version similar to the 2016 FPS. Cards from the first game are also available in the gameagain unchanged from the original game.
Other great new features of the program for this beta, The ping system is available for luck, allowing better communication with their allies without going through a possible microphone. But the real major change that Overwatch players are waiting for to be tested remains the changing number of players in the game, becauseOverwatch 2 will now feature 5v5 matchescompared to 6v6 in the original game.
