Emmanuel Macron pays touching tribute to his deceased grandmother amid TF1 news

Asked by Anne-Claire Coudray and Gilles Bouleau for 10 minutes to convince TF1, Emmanuel Macron relied on the first symbolic move he would make if selected. The opportunity to give a very strong tribute to his grandmother.

Her grandmother was Germaine Noguès, nicknamed Manette, who died at the age of 96, in 2013. A former geography teacher, he was also a school principal. She, her maternal grandmother passed on to her the taste of studying and reading. Manette has always been in Emmanuel Macron’s life, as he expresses in the book President of the thief.
